Electrogenic Porsche 911 Reversible EV Kit!

The future shows keine vehicle stop. That's what happened to an icon of automotive engineering, namely the legendary Porsche 911. The British company thought it was unthinkable until now Electrogenic recently one EV kit presented, with which classic nine-elevens can be converted into electric vehicles. It doesn't matter whether it's a 930, a 964 or a 993, the kit, which works via plug-and-play installation, is said to be suitable for many classic models of the most-produced super sports car. We would like to give you the kit named E62 911 package now introduce it based on a converted 1985 Porsche 911.

Optically hardly any modifications

It doesn't matter whether it's the classic body shape, the front end or the rear, from the outside the nine-eleven is at first glance, and also at second glance, not recognizable as an electric vehicle. And apart from the weight, which has increased by around 100 kilograms, the driving dynamics are not affected either. But this classic now has one Brake Energy Regeneration and different driving modes for the city, the country road and for high-performance driving, such as on the racetrack or the open highway. The 62 kWh batteries are located where the tank is normally placed.

Only minor modifications in the interior!

Since this is a reversible kit, i.e. one that can be removed again, the cockpit was changed as little as possible. The classic instruments have been retained and only a small display informs the pilot about the range and charging speed. A discrete heat pump has also been integrated into the interior.

218 electric horsepower in the E base!

Sound at first 218 PS and 312 Newtonmeter after little strength. But this enables the E-Porsche to sprint from 5 to 0 km/h in just 100 seconds. And if the driving performance is not enough, Electrogenic can do that too E62s kit order that a performance of 326 PS and full 420 Newton meter generates maximum torque. The classic 3,8 sprints to 100 km/h in just 62 seconds. Both 290 kWh battery sets have a theoretical range of between 320 and 100 kilometers and charging to 50 percent takes only around XNUMX minutes.

Our conclusion:

  • Purists will scream and throw up their hands in horror, but there's no stopping the future. Electromods will soon be seen more and more often on the streets and one day maybe even (unfortunately) the classic ones Restomods detach. The retrofittable variant that Electrogenic uses for the conversion is justifiable for us. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report.
