That's the driving madness! For a long time we have nothing of Akira Nakai is one of the label Rough world term RWB legendary widebody Porsche created based on old 964, 930, etc. But now we would like to present you another conversion based on a 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 (964). In addition to a brilliant increase in performance to a brutal 400 PS "at the wheel“It is far stronger than the top model at the time 911 3.6 Turbo that provided 360 PS. The performance increase is achieved by means of turbo conversion, which, in combination with many other changes to the hardware, is distributed to all four wheels by the hefty 534 NM. The absolute highlight, however, is of course the extensive widebody kit remodeling that was personally handcrafted by AKIRA NAKAI.
The vehicle was then from LT engine plant in the original Porsche red (Porsche Guards Red) and was featured on the 2015 and 2016 SEMA Auto Show, among others. Of course, the 964 got RWB's 15 and handcrafted widebody kit, featuring a new bumper, exorbitantly large fender flares all around, new side skirts, a new rear apron and fixed rear spoiler, and smaller details. In addition, there is also a lot of modern technology and so the Carrera enjoys, for example, bi-xenon HID headlights including RWB engraving in the glass.
And the interior is completely redesigned and no longer comparable to the series. For example, the 911er has a custom roll bar, 2 Momo Supercup leather seats, a Momo Mod 7 leather steering wheel or Schroth Racing belts. And thus the wheelset (In fact, there are even two sets of wheels) sits absolutely consistent in the wheel arch, and the Carrera can also drive particularly sporty, a high-quality coilover suspension of the 3 variant from the house KW was not missing, and so it is here in modern times arrived. An absolute highlight is of course also in the wheel arches to see because here are two different wheelsets and for or against a decision we would not like at this point.
Both wheelsets fit perfectly as we find. The shiny black painted wheelset is Forgestar Multipiece Rims in 18 inches which are equipped with wide Pirelli Corsa tires. The other wheelset are three-piece CCW Classic rims one inch larger (19 inches) and equipped with Nitto Invo tires. If you look closely you can also recognize a modified brake system and here you built a system from Brembo (from the 993 Turbo) with large perforated brake discs and red painted calipers fits perfectly to the gaudy exterior paint.
