Who needs the brand new one? Audi TTRS FV 2.5 TFSI with its 400 PS & 480 NM torque when you can drive up and away in the old model? The Thai tuner Autowerks Bangkok presented us just one day after 445PS - BMW M2 F87 an Audi TTRS 8J 2.5L TFSI which with 480 PS & 600 NM torque should not only drive away from the M2 but also the top model TTRS of the current FV series. The "MC140" Stage 150 Kit from Mcchip-DKR (we reported). If the production model already flies to 4,3 km / h in 4,7–100 seconds, this extremely potent variant should complete the whole thing in about 3,5 seconds and if we assume that the limited top speed of 250 km / h is also removed the TT should run well over 300 km / h. Of course, with such an enormous leap in performance, it is not only done with simple chip tuning but also requires a lot of changes to the car's hardware.
Specifically, this means that the tuner installed the Mcchip-dkr Stage 3 chip tuning software, but also new turbochargers, a Forge intercooler, an APR high-pressure fuel pump, Milltek Catless Downpipes, a Sachs Performance clutch, an 034 Motorsport Carbon Air-Intake System, a Forge BOV kit, reinforced the screw connection of the cardan shaft as well as the engine mount and the transmission. Of course, these are extremely extensive changes, but if you want to get more than the usual 20-25% increase in performance and want to drive it permanently, you can't avoid profound changes. If we get more information about the modifications to the TTrs, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
