Bürstner presents ultra-compact campers: Habiton L1 & L2!

Bürstner sets new standards in the world of compact recreational vehicles and motorhomes. The company, which is part of the Erwin Hymer Group, has steadily developed into a specialist for compact leisure vehicles and after the presentation of the Habiton L1 with inflatable roof tent or on the Caravan salon, Bürstner now asks Habiton L2 before. He has a pop-up roof and is based on a longer wheelbase. The background to the innovation is clear: Bürstner aims to serve all niches of the market, from high-quality camper vans equipped with all amenities such as Shower and Toilet, to minimalist micro campers.

The one recently presented in Paris Habiton L2, based on that Renault Grand Kangoo with a wheelbase of 4,67 meters, fills the gap between the micro camper and the traditional camper van. And despite the compact design, the Habiton L2 has a lot to offer: The rear-opening pop-up roof provides more standing height, which is particularly beneficial for adults.

The roof solutions have been designed to integrate seamlessly into the vehicle, with both being less than 2 meters high, making them ideal for everyday use and underground car parks. Bürstner's main target group for the camper are singles, couples and especially families with an urban lifestyle.

Product manager Carolin Gebhardt emphasizes the importance of a spatial connection between parents and children in the vehicle. The interior of the Habiton L2 is characterized by its flexibility: A modular kitchen in the rear, equipped with Induction hotplate, sink, storage space and an cutlery drawer. And towards that cooling box there are additional seats. Another highlight are the multifunctional ones Window blackouts, which can also be used as bags. Finally, with the Renault Kangoo available in both a short and long wheelbase version as an E-Tech variant, the door opens to RV electric mobility that is both environmentally friendly and innovative.
