So actually you might say that the Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series, top model of the SL limited to 350 pieces, with 670PS and 1.000NM (limited) is already unsurpassed well motorized and no further changes are required. But that's exactly what the guys from HG Performance see completely differently and have given a SL65 BS a fat increase in performance from RENNtech! Using chip tuning software, air inlets, high flow dual intercooler pump kit and a stainless steel sports exhaust system, the Stuttgart-based company is now blowing with extreme 810PS & 1.355NM torque to attack the left lane of the autobahn. At the moment it is a mystery to us what HG Motorsports has done so that the transmission can withstand the completely insane torque.
Even ex works, Mercedes has already limited the maximum torque from 1200 Nm to 1000 Nm, and now HG Motorsport is breathing a whopping 355 Nm into the Stuttgart-based company. Unfortunately, the tuner did not provide any information on this point, as RENNtech does Mercedes CLS63 AMG on request, but also breathes 1.150NM torque and makes the whole thing durable, we assume that a few components for the transmission are also available and installed for the SL. Incidentally, the wheelset installed here came from Strasse Wheels and, in my opinion, looks great on the SL. The dimensions of the rims are not yet known to us, but we assume that they are identical to the standard rims. Specifically, this would mean that the front dimensions were 9,5 x 19 inches with 265/35 R19 tires and a lush 11,5 x 20 inches with 325/30 R20 slippers can be found at the rear.
But we are not sure! There is not much more to say about the car, so we did it with the Fotostory and 2 cool videos (at the bottom) leave. If we get even more information about further modifications made to the SL65 AMG Black Series, there is of course, as always, an update for this post.
