700 HP Gem: Lakeside Speed & Shine 1969 Chevrolet Camaro!

Attention car lovers: In a recently published YouTube post, Shawn von AutotopiaLA a real treat. This is a beautifully restored and modified 1969 Chevrolet Camaro by the masters of Lakeside Speed & Shine from Arizona. With 700 hp under the hood, the classic really packs a punch. At the heart of the mighty muscle man hums an LT4-V8 with a displacement of 6,2 liters, which is already a powerhouse with 659 hp and a torque of 830 Nm ex works. But it's even been pimped to 700hp with some clever modifications, including a downsized pulley and a billet supercharger cover with matching rocker covers by MPI Performance.

1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Coupled to a 4-speed Supermatic 4L75 transmission, the Camaro stays true to the nostalgic style with the classic horseshoe shifter. Incidentally, the intake tract is routed into the cold air intake system and the air is supplied through a clever opening next to the headlight. But the devil is known to be in the details. In addition to the beefed up engine, BMR headers and a custom stainless steel sports exhaust system were installed, and to tame the extra power there was an improved braking system from Wilwood.

But the Camaro isn't just a beast under the hood, it's also a beauty to behold. In collaboration with Anvil Auto, Lakeside Speed & Shine has given the '69 Camaro clever carbon accents that harmonize with the glossy pearlescent white of the body and the matt black of the vehicle. From the subtle carbon door handles and front spoiler to the impressive diffuser, the one-of-a-kind has style down to the last detail.

state-of-the-art Dapper headlights

Other special features are the Dapper headlights, which in combination with the fog lights offer a unique lighting experience. The OEM side turn signals have been removed and integrated into the front lights, so that the daytime running lights now also serve as turn signals. With TCI front and rear suspension and massive 335 tires on 20-inch rear rims and 265 on 19-inch alloys up front, the Camaro looks as good as it sounds.
