Rocket Bunny Mazda RX-7: a dream for JDM fans!

A few days ago it was July 7th, 7, and this day is not a completely normal date for Mazda disciples, but a very special day. July 2021th is generally celebrated as RX-7 Day, and this is where the rotary engine fans go crazy. This model is also an absolute rarity in Europe, and there are not many examples that have found their way here from Japan. The 7-year-old Italian Gianluca Nacciareti makes a big exception by putting an RX-34 in his garage and of course cherishing and caring for it. At the age of 7, after having had his first experience with the model with the help of a video game, the car fanatic decided to try one FD3S version to put in the garage at home.

A collector like he is in the book.

When he bought the vehicle built in 1991 in 2013, the speedometer was only at the original 103.000 kilometers, and Gianluca has only driven about 29.000 kilometers with the RX-7 so far. This is a normal cut for such JDM cars, which often do not move more than 5.000 kilometers per year.

But this RX-7 is by no means the only precious item in Gianluca Nacciareti's collection, as his collection includes one 1996 Nissan Silvia S14, a Toyota GT86 from 2018 and one Abarth 595, which also comes from the same model year as the Hachiroku. By the Pandem Rocket Bunny Kit this RX-7 is much wider than the production vehicle, which has caused controversial reactions on the internet. Gianluca's RX-7 also owns a set of RE Amemiya mirrorwhich look cool, but cause a lousy all-round view. When rims were Watanabe R-Type rims selected, which come in 17-inch format and are equipped with an offset of 20ET all around.

Because the vehicle is also for Drift competitions is used, it is an advantage that Gianluca tires from Toyo sports in the format 235/40/17, because they build up the necessary grip to show nice drifts. Incidentally, the vehicle was in Purple-black lacquered, which gives it a certain midnight flair.

In the interior, emphasis was placed on a racing look.

Even if the cockpit remained unchanged, they still bear witness Racing seats and the Four-point belts with the label "Hardcore" from racing ambitions. Otherwise, the interior remained as it was and all the comfort features of the Japanese super sports car were retained.

Four-disc rotary engine provides powerful power.

A pair of Four-disc rotary engine, which has been heavily revised by the owner, ensures proper propulsion. Normally, a twin-disc Wankel does its job in the RX-7, but this has been expanded by two more discs. Although he no Has a turbocharger or compressor, this engine provides around 300+ PS, which is why it is not impossible to hunt down established modern sports cars with the classic Mazda.
