In the land of unlimited (tuning) possibilities it seems at first glance nothing excluded to be when it comes to modifications and restyling on the car. A very curious trend from the USA is the attachment of oversized wheels, whereby sedans and coupés have at least the ground clearance of an off-road vehicle. These so-called "Donk-Style" rims are not necessarily to everyone's taste and often end in so-called Tuning Fails, but are among the absolute trends when it comes to tuning vehicles in the United States. Even a classic is not prepared to have to go along with this trend, like this one 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle, which we present to you in more detail today. It was named by its owner with the so-called Donk style tuning provided.
Classic as a tuning fail.
It may be true that a 1971 Chevelle is not as popular as a Corvette or a Camaro, but we still believe that a classic automobile from the early 1970s should not be defaced in the way the owner of the Chevy did. These Drop-center chrome rims in tornado designthat come with red elements and from the company Amani are, to put it mildly, an imposition on a classic.

Only the color combination of the rims with the exterior color looks relatively coherent. As is well known, there are often such weddings in the USA, because the trend towards ever larger rims is driving curious flowers, which often leave a lot to be desired in terms of taste.
Also this Chevrolet, which without the strange rims like a perfect one Restomod looks, could make the hearts of any US car fan beat faster, but in our opinion the rims are really a matter of taste.
Not much has been changed in the interior.
The interior was not changed and kept the classic 70s look, but the Trunk expanded, and an ultra-modern one now lives in the former spare wheel well Premium Sound System including speakers and various accessories. So at least the sound can convince, if you get stunned looks due to the wheel-tire combination.
LS3-V8 with a displacement of 6,2 liters was introduced.
It's no less spectacular under the hood than on the axles, but far less controversial. A V8 suction gasoline engine from the Corvette C6who is at least tight 430 HP developed, drives the vehicle. The power transmission takes place of course on the Rear wheels. Unfortunately, we don't know whether the engine is standard or whether it has been modified to generate more power. In any case, the Chevy would cut a good figure on the drag strip if you put on other rims and tires, because with the power of the V8, the oldie can also keep up with modern sports cars.
