A powerhouse in the VW Golf 7 GTI: Schropp shows how it's done!

For all car lovers who thought that Schropp was only a specialist for US cars like the Ford Mustang, there is now a surprise. Sure, the American ones Muscle cars are still particularly common at Schropp, but the experts from Mössingen in Swabia also have what it takes when it comes to everyday cars goes. A perfect example of this is the VW Golf 7 GTI Performance, which they recently whipped up. As is well known, the sporty Wolfsburg rolls off the assembly line with stately 230 PS from a turbocharged four-cylinder. A power pack that delivers decent power for a potent compact that doesn't have to hide from many an athlete.

But Schropp has the potential of the two-liter engine 301 PS increased, and that by a simple Chiptuning. This brings the GTI to a level of performance that is on par with the top model Golf R stands. As an additional icing on the cake, the torque has gone up a notch and is now reaching 480 Nm, which even surpasses that of the R. The power upgrade is supported by a Duplex exhaust system with stately 76 mm tubes, A EC type approval Of course it has and it comes from Friedrich Motorsport just like them Downpipe including HJS 200 cell cat. And optically it is also an eye-catcher, primarily thanks to its Carbon tailpipes. But not only under the hood did Schropp lend a hand with the white-painted GTI. There are also some visual changes.

Subtle upgrade of the optics

A pair of Carbon spoiler sword from Kerscher under the front apron makes the car look even more dynamic and with that KW Variant 1 coilover suspension the Golf lies a little lower on the road. A special highlight is hidden in the wheel arches: Barracuda Karizzma rims with a matt black "Puresports" finish in the size 8,5×19 inches. The special thing about the Y-spoke wheels, which are fitted with 255/35 tires, is the green one color trim – a colored decorative line on the rim flange.
