Is this the ultimate Cobra? We believe so! At first glance, one might even suspect there is a Wiesmann GT MF 5. But this vehicle consumes the Wiesmann with 507 PS strong 5,0-liter V10 from the BMW M5 probably for breakfast. The vehicle comes from the company CN vehicle construction GmbH from Dormagen who specialize in refining the legendary Cobra. And with this Cobra, in addition to the protruding from the hood LS7-V8 compressor especially the cool hardtop in the eye. For us something completely new because so far we have always seen the Cobra only open. Most likely it is a DAX COBRA 427 hardtop. Certainly we are not. The closed version with rear window and the fat rear convinced but full line. And the rest of the metallic-gray painted body with contrasting stripes in the middle is a real eye-catcher.

Everything is super clean and there are darkened headlights front and rear, no chrome and of course the obligatory side pipes on the right and left. An extremely fat variant in matt black is installed here, which is of course due to the engine. If we are correctly informed, the vehicle is a so-called "RS6 Cobra" conversion which is the spearhead of the tuner. On the website such a specimen is specified with about 900PS / 662KW & 1080Nm torque, but supposedly this vehicle even has an insane 1.200 PS due to a Whipple compressor. The power is transmitted by means of 6-speed Tremec racing gearbox exclusively to the rear wheels, which are in XXL format and with black three-part BBS RS forged rims (BBS RS racing rims, front: 9 × 18 ″ with 245/40 ZR18, rear: 11,5 × 18 ″ with 315/30 ZR18: unconfirmed information) with millimeter accuracy in the wheel arch.

A look through the spokes also reveals a huge Brembo 6-piston fixed caliper brake with huge perforated brake discs and eye-catching yellow brake calipers all around. And the cabin has also been extensively revised and perfectly aligned with the clean style of the vehicle. There are classic round instruments in the middle and the lower part of the - painted in body color - Like the rest of the cabin, the dashboard is wrapped in high-quality black leather and skilfully contrasted in color with a yellow contrasting stitching. In addition, an OMP sports steering wheel flattened at the bottom with Alcantara cover and yellow 12 o'clock marking and a retro gear lever made of aluminum in the tidy center console.

According to the website, the so-called "RS6" conversion of Cobra-CN also includes technical delicacies such as a Drexler 3.64 racing limited-slip differential, an aluminum oil cooler or an adjustable traction control to bring the performance of the V8 onto the road at all. The handcrafted vehicles receive either a body made of glass fiber or carbon composite material and in this country CN Fahrzeugbau is probably the absolute top address when it comes to the Cobra.
