2024 Nissan GT-R as Skyline Edition & T-spec Takumi Edition!

Nissan currently has for the American market two limited special models of the GT-R announced for 2024: the skyline Edition and the T-spec Takumi Edition. However, the exact limitation remains for the time being unknown. The T-spec Takumi Edition is a tribute to the Takumi, the mechanics responsible for building the VR38DETT six-cylinder are responsible. There is therefore a plaque under the hood of the Edition with the engraved signature of the mechanic who put the V6 together. The edition is also characterized by a special color combination: Midnight Purple for the body and Mori Green for the cabin. The technical highlights include: NISMO carbon ceramic brakes and NISMO-style forged rims from RAYS in gold. Wider front fenders and the NISMO Vehicle Control (VDC) improve dynamics, especially in R mode, by directing more power to the required wheels to avoid understeer and oversteer.

GT-R as Skyline Edition & T-spec Takumi Edition

The skyline Edition while paying tribute to the Skyline GT-Rs, which never officially appeared on the North American market. Based on the premium equipment line, the edition is in Bayside Blue with an interior in Sora Blue. Bayside Blue, a paint finish that marked the end of production of the R34 Skyline GT-R was phased out in 2002 and was already designed for the GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition (model year 2020) revived. Both of them T-spec Takumi Edition and the skyline Edition, are expected in the salesrooms in summer 2024 and are likely to be offered at a significantly higher price due to the exclusivity.
