Whoever burns a 1: 12,7 in the asphalt on the small circuit in Hockenheim can certainly be proud of it. The tuning company Sportec from Switzerland managed it. Even if it is not the current RS3, the "old" one should certainly have caused a stir again.
Sportec has been screwing on the RS3 since March 2012, but the result did not seem to be enough for the Swiss so that you took the RS3 to your chest again. The 405PS from previous years are history and the RS3 flies through the area with an additional 65PS. The impressive 625NM torque of the 5 cylinder comes out as if it were shot out of the gun. So the name “Sportec RS 470” says it all. The modifications made are extensive and start with the larger intercooler via the in-house turbocharger Sportec K24.500 via optimized intake air routing up to a high-performance exhaust system including powerful sports catalytic converters.
The result definitely impresses. 0-100km / h in only 3,8 seconds and the 200er mark falls after 12,9 seconds. Maximum 302km / h are in it and so many 911 driver is likely to get a shock.
Sportec widened the wheel arches on the RS3 and installed a coilover kit so that the visual difference to the series becomes clear. The finish is then the chic 20 inch aluminum rims (Mono10 design) in black with 245/30 tires from Michelin.
