If you are an owner of an Audi TT and have an urgent need to modify it, then the door is open. Tuners like MR Racing, ABT & Co. offer plenty of tuning accessories in every form for the sporty Ingolstadt-born. There are even for the small Fiat 124 Abarth on request a completely reworked vehicle. However, it looks quite different to the counterpart of the Fiat 124, the Mazda MX-5. It is hard to believe but for the bestselling roadster in the world there are at least in Europe, and especially in Germany, hardly any vendors who deal with the subject of customization of the little Japanese. Although manufacturers offer such Kuhl Racing or DAMD a lot of accessories to bring the whole but then from Japan to Germany and here to drive with permission is anything but natural or easy. The topic of MX5 Tuning has now been adopted by a company unknown to us, called Zymexx Fahrzeugtechnik. They have completely refined an 2015 Mazda MX-5 ND as a promotional vehicle and presented it at the past Essen Motorshow. The front of the MX-5 is adorned with a custom Zymexx mesh front grille and the stylish red / carbon mirror caps are also designed for the MX-5. The rear is adorned with a subtle rear diffuser of the brand AutoExe Inc. from Japan. The rather small and playful details also include the Mazda emblems made of carbon that set a chic accent at the front and back. Other changes are, tinted side indicators at the front, Zymexx luggage rack and Zymexx wind deflector.

The bigger changes include the Motec Antares wheel set in 18 inches with its 215 tires all around. So that the new aluminum rims sit a little more firmly in the wheel arch, 18mm spacers were installed at the front and 30mm at the rear. A lowering also found its way into the Japanese and so it is now with much sportier airs with an ST coilover kit in and out of the curve. The video that we have included above shows the sound of the specially developed sports exhaust system including Fox central silencer and proves that the 131PS can also sound quite sporty. We are only aware of one change in the interior and it relates to the Zymexx Z-Style 1 steering wheel with its 12 o'clock mark. With this MX-5, the team from Zymexx-Fahrzeugtechnik shows a really stylish way of how a German company can refine the Japanese. So if you already have an MX-5 you should definitely go to Recklinghausen. If we get more information about further modifications to the MX-5, there is of course, as always, an update for this post.
