From the tuner VeilSide and its founder Hironao Yokomaku there is finally news about the announced in December 2021 Supra with widebody kit. The converted MK5 has been finished for a few months! And the result is extreme, as expected. The VeilSide "complete vehicle" based on the A90 Supra is officially called VFS90R. And as a complete vehicle, VeilSide only understands a conversion when, apart from the roof, no stone has been left unturned. And that's at VFS90R the case. According to the company, every component on the body is new or processed. It goes without saying that such an extensive kit has its price. The FRP version of the conversion costs about 2,4 million yen in Japan, which corresponds to about 16.800 euros at current rates. If it is the carbon fiber version, then you even have to budget a good 3,0 million yen or the equivalent of 21.000 euros.
There are no traction problems!
The price does not include the cost of the 20 inches Drop center rims by Veilside, which are 10 inches wide at the front and 12,5 inches at the back. They are equipped with XXL slippers in 255/35R20 and 345/25R20 format. And for the ultimate in functionality and looks, VeilSide has the first Supra conversion with one too Airride air suspension stocked. It is easy to go up and down at the touch of a button. But let's get back to the body kit. At the rear, the huge extensions right and left for the fact that the Supra MK5 grows to a mighty 2,073 meters in width. That's more than a current BMW X7 (G07) can boast. And while the front ones fender are completely new components, and partly combined with the bonnet, are the rear screwed onto the side walls, which of course had to be extensively sawn out (!!!) beforehand. In addition, the extensions go seamlessly into huge ones side skirts about.

And also the back one bumper gets a new design with contrasting colors diffuser and F1-style fog lights. Incidentally, the mighty one comes from HKS Titanium sports exhaust system with their blue burned tailpipes. The sound of the BMW in-line six-cylinder is definitely improved significantly. Otherwise, as far as we know, the engine in this car is standard. Of course, it has to be said that the VeilSide A90 is utterly over the top in terms of proportions in every sense. Nevertheless, everything more or less fits together, as we think. And that goes for the big one too Ducktail spoiler lip on the tailgate.
Incidentally, at the request of the customer, the modifications in the car were kept relatively simple. It find itself VeilSide logos on the standard headrests and the belts and in the trunk is the compressors, tank and the control unit from Airride air suspension.
