Almost 1 1 / 2 years ago, that's the American tuner Vorsteiner with two virtual pictures one Preview of the planned VRS Carbon Bodykit for the BMW X5M F85 SAV (SUV) showed. And now, after what felt like an eternity, the time has come to officially buy the VRS aerodynamic package for the successor to the E70 X5. And basically everything is as it already showed the virtual preview. Only the announced new bonnet including the distinctive air vents does not seem to have made it to the series. There is for the front bumper the announced front spoiler which encloses the complete front apron in the chic Sichtcarbon.
On the other hand, the black kidneys and gills come from the optional accessories from BMW, which are almost mandatory on a modified BMW. And at the rear, too, the team has given the X5 a roof spoiler and a sporty rear diffuser and, of course, these two components are also made of high-quality carbon fiber. They also used the in-house rim shelf and installed a set of 22 inch V-FF 109 forged rims which are equipped with huge Toyo Proxes ST slippers. The exact dimensions on the front axle are 22 × 10 inches and the rear axle carries an impressive 22 × 11.
Equipped is the wheelset with rubbers in 295 / 30 / 22 front and much wider 335 / 30 / 22 rear. The dark wheel set with its filigree spokes gives a generous view of the oversized M-Sport brake system with the perforated brake discs in view of over 2 tons of empty weight (2.350 kg) has to do a lot. Whether Vorsteiner decided against the bonnet or whether it may still be delivered and unfortunately not known at the moment. But it would definitely suit the X5.
