Ok - we have two messages for you! The good news is that we have a lot of pictures of a VW Golf MK6 GTi with V6 engine and on fancy Vossen Wheels VLE1 alloy wheels for you, the bad news is that we actually don't know anything about the vehicle. The team from Vossen Wheels presented the car a few days ago on its website, but what is completely missing are a few details that have changed. So for better or worse we have to be content with the pictures and what we can see on them. The CCZB (CDLG at the GTI "Edition 35") kicked out and replaced by a V6 VW engine. If we are not completely wrong, it would have to be the R36 BWS six-cylinder engine with 220 kW (300 PS) from the VW Passat / Golf R36. In addition, the 6er GTi is on chic Vossen Wheels VLE1 alloy wheels and also seems to have got a new, significantly larger, brake system with red brake calipers.

In a photo, part of an RS5 bucket seat flashes out and the exhaust system including the rear diffuser is not really standard either. The Vossen Wheels team has the significantly modified MK6 without a hood (for whatever reason) published the days and we are of course happy to at least show you the pictures. Even if we don't really have anything tangible, we can say that the optics of the 6 Series GTi definitely look significantly changed after the extensive tuning cure. In terms of engine performance, the 6 Series should now be significantly stronger and, as a result, much more dynamic than the production version. Visually, the whole thing works without exaggerating or even looking chubby, which I personally like very much. If the 6 Series had still installed its bonnet, you wouldn't really notice the difference from the outside in relation to the built-in V6. So if you have been secretly thinking of buying a VW Golf GTi MK6 for a long time, or if you are even a happy owner, this version is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model.

As far as the further changes to optics or technology are concerned, we hope to be able to find out something in the future. As always, we have listed what we could see in the pictures in a small summary for you in the lower part of the article. If you discover more changes that we have missed, please use our comment box and let us know, we will then add them to the article as soon as possible.

Ps. If you have more tuned vehicles like this one BMW 5er E61 535xi or even the ABT Sportsline Audi Q7 4M (QS7) on Vossen Wheels just click on the tuner name below in the photo reference!
