In South America, too, and especially in Brazil, Volkswagen is a very popular brand and one of the bestsellers on the automotive market. Sometimes there are special models for the South American market, but for the most part the model ranges for Europe and South America are similar. Only when it comes to compact sedans is there more choice in Brazil than in Germany, for example, where models such as the Polo Classic or the Jetta are no longer officially available. There are also other limos for the South American market from VW, such as the Voyage or the Virtus. But now we come to the Sixth generation Jetta back, of which we present you today a copy that does its rounds in Brazil, and has been modified by its owner.

Airride chassis ensures depth

As you can see in the pictures, the Jetta turned into a Airride chassis built in, which has a AirLift performance control can be operated. The Volkswagen is therefore extremely low and feels only millimeters above the asphalt. The rims made by the Brazilian company are something very special V and listen to the model name Evolution.

The powerful 20 incher come with a matt gray finish and a five-spoke look with a light turbine design, which makes them strongly reminiscent of the GTI rims from VW's OEM shelf. You rarely see such matt gray rims on a white car, but the combination, which at first glance sounds like a bit of getting used to, looks harmonious in our opinion. Even the little one rear spoiler in carbon look looks sporty and gives the Jetta a certain dynamic. We also like the double pipe exhaust, because it is subtle and classic.

The compact sedan is also an eye-catcher Trailer hitchthat looks as if it was milled from solid, and yet somehow doesn't want to go with the slender Volkswagen. With the Jetta you can not only be seen in South America, because the compact sedan would also be an absolute eye-catcher at a tuning meeting in this country.

Unfortunately, we don't know anything about the engine.

We don't know what drive heart beats under the hood of the Jetta, but we are pretty sure that the power range of the unit is between 105 and 170 hp emotional. This means that you are sufficiently motorized on the road, but in our opinion the sedan is less suitable for sporty natures. For drivers who attach great importance to longitudinal dynamics, a GTI is probably the better choice.

Our Conclusion about this slammed VW Jetta Mk.6:

Even if we (still) rarely report on tuning projects from South America, it must be noted that the tuning scene there has developed positively and the Jetta has been professionally refined. As is well known, there are many modified VW models in Brazil in particular, and the projects are often impressive. If you like the Jetta, you are welcome to click on the associated picture gallery that we have attached to the article. If we get more information about the changes, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply take ours Feed subscribe to.
