Innovation is always required in the automotive industry. And no one demonstrates that better than the giant of the body kits, Forest International. The Japan-based company has launched its latest project, the Forest SpaceX Body Kit, reaches a new level and shows that the electric car tuning market is incredibly fertile ground. Surprisingly, the eye-catching BodyKit designed specifically for the Tesla Model Y was developed, only recently presented in China and seems until now only available there be. Keyword - Copyright? We do not know it! Although modifying Teslas is always a tricky business and no body kit for the Model Y has yet achieved a real breakthrough, Wald International bravely accepted the challenge. However, that is possible SpaceX Body Kit not yet found on the company's official website.
Forest SpaceX BodyKit Tesla
A closer look at the BodyKit quickly reveals that it is heavily inspired by the design of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. It is particularly noticeable vehicle front, which is reminiscent of the iconic British sports car. But that's not the only inspiration. The promotional vehicle comes with a chrome-colored Foil covered with a weathered finish that gives the whole a rocket-like appearance - a clear reference to the "SpaceX"-Name suffix. According to Wald, the body kit is made entirely of carbon and includes a new one front apron, a front spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser with Additional LED and one rear spoiler. And for those who want to personalize their car even further, Wald even has its own rims in sizes of 20 or 21 inches at the start.
However, it seems as though the kit makes for an eye-catching look, but save notable improvements in terms of aerodynamics or efficiency for the Model Y. Despite its peculiarities, that remains Forest SpaceX Body Kit for the Tesla Model Y initially only via the Chinese website car gym available for around $4.000. While the company says it can be shipped worldwide, it will be exciting to see if and when the unique body kit will make its way to other markets.
