More than with the 670 PS & 1.000 NM torque (limited) M 279 E 60 AL - V12 is not known in the R230! Not only is the performance phenomenal, the visual appearance ex works is also extremely oversized and even nine years after its introduction, the SL 350 AMG Black Series, limited to 65 pieces, is an eye-catcher par excellence. This is exactly what the owner of this black SL did and can receive a completely transformed vehicle after the conversion has been completed. Mercedes equips the SL65 BS ex works with rims in the dimensions 9,5 x 19 inches including 265/35 R19 tires at the front and 11,5 x 20 inches with 325/30 R20 tires at the rear, but this is still possible on request a whole lot more as M&D proves.
The tuner installed a set of artFORM AF-303 Alu's in the dimensions 10,5 × 20 & 12 × 20 inches, including lush 265 & 325 Dunlop Sport Maxx tires. An electronic lowering of the standard ABC chassis ensures perfect cornering and the necessary sound comes from an individual exhaust system with Black Edition tailpipes. Visually, this copy is particularly chic, I think, I like the silver painted aluminum rims in conjunction with the black body and nothing looks exaggerated or chubby. The necessary understatement of the SL remains, but there is still a huge difference to the normal SL that cannot be overlooked.
