Can you still remember when we did Mercedes CLS W218 sedan from M&D exclusive cardesign at the beginning of March? With a length of 4,90 m, the Limo is already an imposing appearance ex works that can be achieved with the widebody kit from Prior-Design became unmistakably bold. But in my opinion the elegant shooting brake version is even more stylish. I have no idea why, but a good 5 meter combination rear end packaged in a coupe-like body is what I personally want to like best. And just such a W218 Shooting Brake has now M&D, from Dinslaken in North Rhine-Westphalia, missed a Prior-Design PD550 Black Edition body kit that makes the CLS appear much more beefy and fuller than the production model. The body kit includes a new front and rear bumper, new side skirts, different front fenders, a discreet tailgate spoiler and a hood attachment. But all of that wouldn't come into its own if M&D hadn't given the Shootingbrake a suitable wheel set and a subtle lowering. The rims are AF-301 artFORM rims in lush 8,5 x 20 & 10,5 x 20 inches as we already have them, 1 inch larger, on M&D Audi A7 S7 with PD700 body kit have seen. In terms of color, this time, however, a custom-made finish using gunmetal powder coating to match the vehicle.

With a subtle 25mm lowering thanks to H&R springs and an adjustment of the level control at the rear, the aluminum's are now optimally in the wheel arch. Chic details such as the brake calipers in shiny yellow or the original AMG 63 Black Series tailpipes round off the vehicle perfectly. The M&D team published the CLS the days and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the first pictures of it. After the extensive tuning cure that the W218 Shootingbrake was allowed to endure, it is now visually much more beefy, much more individual and dynamic than the production version, without being exaggerated or even chubby.

So if you have been secretly thinking about buying a Mercedes-Benz CLS W218 Shooting Brake or even a happy owner is for you, M&D is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model. And for all those who are not necessarily located near the tuner, the vehicle may serve as a tuning template for the tuning partner on site.
