It is becoming increasingly popular in the Chinese tuning scene and is one of the most iconic CDM vehicles. Despite its limited use in city traffic, the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV the bestseller, and even managed to outperform the Tesla Model 3 in a global comparison of electric vehicles. An unbelievable 50.000 units per month have already been registered by the dwarf, and there are already Chinese carmakers who want to jump on the successful line of the city runabout with electric drive with bold copies. One has to wait and see whether the imitators celebrate similar successes with their e-speedsters as the GM division Wuling, which may still venture into the European market in 2022. But we stay in the present, and now introduce you to a modified Hongguang Mini EV that looks mature and mature. He makes his rounds in Chinese metropolises, and was from Robot Custom refined.
A tiny one can be so chic!
There is not much left of the square and long-legged impression of the standard wuling. The measly 12 inch wheels were through 14-inch Alus replaced. The tuning crew from Robot Custom even used for the microcar two different Wheel / tire combinations, of which we have to admit that the shiny silver wheels in poinsettia look that look sporty and also have a Central locking have, are our favorite. But the simpler Alus, which do without the wiry look, also suit the Wuling.

There are two different electric drives for the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, the smaller of which only has a range of just about 120 kilometers owns, while the larger drive at least 170 km creates. Unfortunately, we do not know what capacity the battery of the model we have presented has, but the power transmission is always via a stepless one in both variants automatic transmission on the front wheels. With 100 km / h top speed, to which both versions are limited, the autobahn is definitely the wrong terrain for the little ones, who can, however, boast in the urban jungle.
