Zenvo TSR-S - Danish hypercar for solvent connoisseurs of special automobiles.

One of the many cars that would have been presented at the Geneva Motor Show canceled due to the Corona virus is the Danish super sports car Zenvo TSR-S. This is the street-legal version of the Zenvo TSR tracking tool, which was presented to the public a few years ago. There are already a few innovations for 2020, as the use of carbon fibers has been intensified in the current version.

Daring design that polarizes.

At the front, the Zenvo TSR-S impresses with a trapezoidal grille, similar to the one from Aston Martin and Ford, which comes in a wire mesh look, and large headlights that look like the compound eyes of an insect. The two-door hypercar also impresses with fat sills and a large front spoiler with huge air intakes. So far, so good, but the Zenvo TSR-S shoots the bird at the rear, with a staggered monster rear wing that automatically adapts to the driving situation in order to always generate the optimal contact pressure. The carbon fibers mentioned are used for the side skirts, the rear wing and the new carbon fiber rims, which are supposed to save around 15 kg in weight compared to conventional aluminum rims.

Interior deliberately reduced to the essentials

In order to focus on the driver, the modern and very reduced interior of the Zenvo TSR-S was developed around the driver's position, so that all essential elements that were considered superfluous were omitted. The large central monitor and the digital cockpit convey absolute racing flair, and the Alcantara racing bucket seats and the completely flat motorsport steering wheel, which is not round but offers optimum steering comfort on the race track, testify to the ambitions of this hypercar, which does not offer its driver a comfort zone to want, as you know it from a Bugatti, but to represent a real driving machine that, if necessary, challenges the pilot and demands everything from him.

The drive is provided by a unique bi-compressor V8

A 5,8-liter V8 petrol engine with double supercharging serves as the drive source, which produces 1193 hp and a four-digit number of maximum torque. The mild hybrid system, which consists of a 48V starter generator, is new. The power transmission takes place via a sequential seven-speed gearbox and highway speed 100, the super sports car reaches from a standing start in 2,8 seconds, and it takes just 200 seconds to reach 6,8 km / h. The top speed is electronically limited to 325 km / h for aerodynamic reasons. The Danish newcomer should therefore fear the established super athletes, and anyone lucky enough to be able to pilot this bullet knows that he always has sufficient power reserves.

Prices in the seven-digit range

The price for the Danish exotic is 1,725 million euros, which means that the group of buyers is very limited. In addition, the Zenvo TSR-S is limited to 5 pieces per year, which would make it a medium wonder if you would encounter one in the wild. Nevertheless, it is a fascinating automobile that makes the hearts of many sports car fans beat faster. As a poster or model car, the Zenvo may be very difficult to find due to the low level of awareness of the brand, but Zenvo fans can count themselves lucky that the brand is constantly being reported on and highly valued.
