The Indian company Bajaj (Bajaj Auto), which was founded in 1945, is one of the world's largest motorcycle manufacturers. To be more precise, it is currently the fourth largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world. Until 1959 the focus was exclusively on the sale of imported motorcycles and scooters. It was not until the end of 1959 that the company received a license for series production of two-wheelers in India. Today the company produces about 1 million two-wheelers and light vehicles per year and is also part of the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM involved. The current model range of the Indians includes various two-wheelers with displacements between 50 and 400 cm³ as well as electric scooters. So far, tuning has only played a subordinate role for this brand, but it is becoming increasingly popular primarily in the Indian home market.
