Motorcycles from the Indian brand Bajaj are also available in this country and are inexpensive. Nevertheless, they have exotic status in Europe. The situation is completely different in India, where they are among the most popular two-wheelers and are an integral part of road traffic. The custom bike forge VP Designs from the Indian metropolis of Pune took on a Bajaj Avenger 220 and conjured it up into a cool custom bobber. We would like to present this machine to you today!
Black and blue eye-catcher!
The bike, which has been extensively modified by VP Designs, is called "Samsara", which means "cycle of death and rebirth" in Indian. The black and blue paintwork catches the eye and various modifications, such as the long upside-down fork at the front, a new custom tank and a flatter handlebar that is mounted low, make the bike something special. Furthermore, the seat has been drastically shortened so that there is only room for one person. The already mentioned, flat handlebars, the footrests located far forward and the cool look give you a cruiser feeling when driving. Of course, that's not all of the changes made by VP Designs.
A round LED headlight and a shortened fender over the front wheel are just as important as a modified rear end. This has been shortened and the rear fender is located on the swingarm. The position of the rear light on the left side under the fender, where the license plate is also located, is unusual. The custom exhaust, which consists of two tailpipes arranged one above the other and painted blue on the inside, is cool. There are also custom wire spoke rims on the bike that pick up on the black and blue color scheme. Last but not least, both indicators have also been changed. They are significantly smaller than the standard model.
Engine presumably in series condition!
The Bajaj Avenger 220 is powered as standard by a single-cylinder petrol engine with a displacement of 220 cubic centimetres, which generates 19,03 hp and 17,55 Newton meters of maximum torque. Unfortunately, we have no information on the driving performance, but it should be sufficient for cruising.
Our verdict on the Bajaj Avenger 220:
It doesn't always have to be a Harley or a Royal Enfield when it comes to custom bikes. With this conversion, VP Designs proves that there is conversion potential in a Bajaj Avenger. We commend you for that. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
