Let’s dive into Honda’s 2024 models CRF1100L Africa Twin and CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports. First there is the powerful one 1084 cc inline twin engine, which is not only the heart of the two models, but also features an impressive 2024% torque boost in the 7 season 112 Nm at a slightly lower speed (5.500 rpm). And how do the machines achieve the boost in performance? Thanks to an adjustment to the valve control, the intake and exhaust ports as well as an increased compression ratio to 10,5:1 - they catapult acceleration to a new level, especially when fully loaded and when driving with two people. The CRF1100L Africa Twin will be presented for the first time in 2024 with an optional semi-active Showa EERA™ suspension, an upgrade that was previously exclusive to Adventure Sports.

The suspension system adjusts the damping in real time the road, load and driving mode and allows the driver to modify the suspension set-up using the 6,5-inch touchscreen in the cockpit. And the CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports? It is the reliable workhorse for long adventure tours. It combines the performance of semi-active damping Showa EERA™ spring elements as standard with a new 19 inch front wheel and a reduced seat height (between 835 mm and 855 mm).

The new design of the front part not only lowers the center of gravity, but also improves maneuverability and allows easier access from the ground. And the optimized aerodynamics are another plus point, supported by a 5-stage adjustable Windshield, while the additional 15mm of padding on the seat counteracts fatigue on long journeys.

Visually speaking, the 2024 model is the CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports available in Matt Ballistic Black Metallic and Pearl Glare White (Tricolor), which is not only modern but also visually appealing.
