Piaggio is going on the electric offensive with the new Piaggio 1+!

Electric scooters are the wave of the future and Piaggio, the famous Italian brand, is riding it with the updated Piaggio 1+. It is a new development of the Piaggio 2021, which has been available since October 1 and has a more powerful battery and motor. The Italians have given the Piaggio 1+ a 2,2 kW motor and a 2,3 kWh battery. The result is a brisk e-scooter that can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h and has an AM driving license class. The more powerful battery promises a longer range than the old model, with up to 90 kilometers in Eco mode and a still impressive 65 kilometers in Sport mode.

And if the speed is not enough, Piaggio also has the 1 Active with top speeds of up to 60 km/h at the start. A full charge of the removable battery takes 6 hours, according to Piaggio, so you can easily charge overnight and jet off again the next day. All Piaggio 1 models impress with a low seat height of 77 cm and 10-inch wheels, which ensure a comfortable driving experience. There is also storage space under the seat, big enough for a jet helmet, and a USB port. The e-scooter is started either by remote control or by pressing a button, and a 5,5-inch display shows all important data.

Comfort and style: common features of the Piaggio 1

And despite weighing less than 100 kilograms, the Piaggio 1 has a reverse gear - a rare feature on scooters. A combined braking system (CBS) with 175 mm disc brakes also ensures safety. The Piaggio 1 FCW special model with a smaller battery and weaker motor is available from EUR 2.999, while the new and improved Piaggio 1+ is available for EUR 3.399. The more nimble Piaggio 1 Active also costs 3.399 euros. With these prices, the Piaggio 1+ definitely makes electric driving more accessible and attractive than ever.
