To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic R1, Yamaha is offering its loyal customers the GYTR PRO Shop network the chance to experience the winning DNA up close. In collaboration with the Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) and World Endurance Championship (EWC) teams, Yamaha has a number of special GYTR® PRO performance parts developed. The minds behind the parts are the same engineers who are the R1 WorldSBK machine developed with which Yamaha won the 2021 World Championship. With the GYTR PRO performance parts the winning performance will be accessible to private drivers for the first time. The GYTR PRO performance parts for the R1 include an ultra strong and lightweight Carbon rear frame, which was designed to be a modified Fuel tank with lower center of gravity and the Magneti Marelli ECU can record.
