GeigerCars has the fastest Corvette ZR1 on the ring

The Corvette ZR1 is a true super sports car that impresses with its performance and design. But what happens if you optimize this car even further? GeigerCars tried it out and drove the fastest Corvette ZR1 at the Sachsenring.

**A record at the Sachsenring**

The Sachsenring is one of the most famous race tracks in Germany, which is primarily used for motorcycle racing. But it is also a challenge for cars that places high demands on the drivers and the vehicles. To set a record here, you need more than just a fast car. You also need a perfectly tuned car that can master every corner and take advantage of every acceleration. That's exactly what GeigerCars has achieved with the Corvette ZR1. The team chased the Corvette ZR1 around the Sachsenring in just **1:30,74 minutes**, setting a new record for street-legal sports cars.

**The Secret Behind Performance**

How did GeigerCars do that? The Corvette ZR1 is already a powerful car, equipped with a 6,2-liter V8 engine that delivers 647 horsepower and 819 pound-feet of torque. But that wasn't enough for GeigerCars. The team has extensively modified the engine and, among other things, gave it a **revised cylinder head**, **sharper camshafts**, **racing pistons**, an **optimized intake tract** and an **intercooler system**. The result is an impressive **730 hp and 950 Newton meters of torque**, which can accelerate the Corvette ZR1 to up to **355 km/h**.

But it's not just the engine that has been optimized. The chassis, aerodynamics, exhaust system and safety have also been improved. GeigerCars has given the Corvette ZR1 a **roll cage**, a **tuned exhaust system**, a **tuned chassis** and **improved aerodynamic elements**. In addition, the standard seats have been replaced with **Recaro seats**, which offer more support and comfort.

**A dream for sports car fans**

The Corvette ZR1 from GeigerCars is a dream for any sports car fan looking for the ultimate driving experience. But this dream also has its price. The basic version of the Corvette ZR1 costs 149.990 euros. The conversions from GeigerCars cost a further 84.798 euros. This brings you to a total price of **234.788 euros** for the fastest Corvette ZR1 at the Sachsenring. If you want to make this dream come true, you should be quick, because GeigerCars only offers a limited edition of ten copies.
