Deep Pampers Bomber - VW Golf R Variant with H&R springs

news from the team around H&R. The latest creation that we encountered from the hallowed halls of H&R is a modified VW Golf R Variant for which the chassis specialists have developed a set of sport springs as well as several wheel spacers and even a coilover suspension. After H&R recently decided on the new Mercedes GLA 45 AMG presented a set of springs, it was the turn of Wolfsburg's fastest Golf station wagon ever produced with 300 hp. We already know a few details about tuning the VW Golf R Variant. What we have learned we have listed below for you in a small summary.

These are the details we know:

  • Spacers
  • Coilover suspension - lowering by up to 45 millimeters on the rear axle and 30 millimeters on the front axle (not suitable for the optionally available adaptive chassis from VW) for € 1.129
  • Sport spring set - front and rear axles 25 millimeters lower for 296 euros (for the GTD from 293 euros)
  • Sport springs from H&R are also available for the Golf GTD Variant with 184 PS (front axle -30mm, rear axle 20mm)
  • "Trak +" - wheel spacers for both models (6 to 60 millimeters)
