For the fifth time the Hot Wheels Legends Tour in search of unique cars in the USA to choose the best tuning car of 2022. As in previous years, a car fan from Germany has the chance to measure his car against other international finalists in the global final. The winning vehicle will have the honor of being recreated in 1:64 scale and included in the Hot Wheels Garage of Legends.
VW Puma GTE
The lucky winner of the German Hot Wheels Legends prize this year is Pascal Klein (31) from Saarbrücken, who was able to successfully assert himself against the competition with his VW Puma GTE. “A childhood dream has come true for me. Now I'm doing everything I can to represent Germany in the best possible way." - said Pascal Klein, who was there with a lot of enthusiasm.
Car lovers and creative minds from all over Germany were able to apply with their gems in May. The expert jury, consisting of Sophia Flörsch and Sidney Hoffmann, the USA Hot Wheels Design Team and the Hot Wheels fan community each selected one candidate from all applicants based on the criteria of authenticity, creativity and "garage spirit". The grand finale took place as part of the PS Days in Hanover from July 8th to 10th, where fans could vote for their favorite top 3 live on site and online on Instagram.
Also this year, Hot Wheels Germany will send the winner and his winning car from Germany to the international Hot Wheels Legends Tour Grand Finale. Now Pascal's VW Puma GTE has the chance to move into the iconic Hot Wheels Garage of Legends and be immortalized as a die-cast. Here he will face the international jury in November.
