The Abarth community once again responded enthusiastically to the call of the scorpion and took an active part in the first online survey: around 120.000 users voted for the new AVAS sound for the Abarth vehicles of the future. This extremely successful initiative showed how interested the fans are in the new path that the traditional brand is taking. To further strengthen the bond between the brand and its fans, the second chapter of "Abarth Performance Creators" will be launched from today on the official Instagram channel (link): with this online tool, fans can choose the debut color of the new model and thus have a say in the visual appearance of the vehicle. Two new and exclusive paint finishes fight for the title. Both show pure "Urban Race" style. They have been specially designed by experts from the Abarth Style Center to underline the brand values of sporty, urban style and sustainable performance.
Coating of the future

Both colors reflect the power, potential and dynamic personality of both the brand and the Abarthisti - and they can now choose between two special shades: Acid Yellow and Poison Blue. The Acid Yellow color was inspired by the adrenaline-pumping experience of typical, sporty driving of Abarth automobiles. It is also traditionally associated with creative energy. So the designers wanted to create a clean and "toxic" paint finish that would immediately highlight the small sports car's unique personality in its urban environment. The end result looks like a flash that will not go unnoticed in cities where cars “dressed” in neutral colors are prevalent. A clear homage to Abarth racing cars - think the legendary 131 Rally - the Poison Blue livery takes the Scorpion into the future of mobility. At the same time, the color also clarifies the traditional values and style of the brand. In fact, it is this new rich shade of blue that will bring the sporty driving experience of Abarth to everyday life.
Fans are guaranteed to be mesmerized by this color that blends past and future. Two exclusive colors, both intense and with strong personalities: which one will the community choose? There are currently 93 official clubs in 22 countries on four continents. The passion of Abarthisti knows no bounds, as demonstrated at the end of 2020 on the Abarth Digital Day: for the largest digital gathering ever, the brand's community was included in the Guinness World RecordsTM. To help shape the Abarth of tomorrow, other initiatives will soon be launched on social networks.
