The BMW M57 has earned a reputation over the years for being indestructible and strong. Although that Diesel engine (power between 197 & 231 hp) is already getting a bit old, it is still often seen on our roads in vehicles such as the 330d to the X5. And the robust engine has particularly piqued the interest of tuning enthusiasts. That's why it has TurboZentrum now a special one Upgrade turbocharger developed, the violent 410 PS can deliver. The main difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 optimization is in the size of the compressor wheel. The exact dimensions and contours of the wheel are calculated to ensure that it fits perfectly with the compressor housing and also interacts with the rest of the turbo, especially the exhaust shaft. The TurboZentrum ensures that optimal relationship to the exhaust side and therefore the best possible performance with the BMW M57 upgrade.

Through the ability, compressor wheels milling to measure, the TurboZentrum not only achieves maximum performance and great response, but also a top-end performance. The final result? A turbo that delivers more air mass even at lower speeds and is therefore not only more powerful, but also more durable. And this is further supported by milling the compressor housing to the exact dimensions and optimizing the gap size. In addition, special bearings are strengthened as part of the Stage 2 upgrades the turbo to be able to handle the increased power.
