Back then, on old ones Carburetor engines were they Suction funnel (further names: Velocity Stack Pipes, Air Horn, Air Horn Trumpets, Funnels, Air Horn Trumpets etc.) the absolute visual highlight and of course had a function. The tuner Custom Cre8ions bring them now as Fake variant but also on the V8 new Chevrolet Corvette C8 with mid-engine. And as stupid as the idea actually is, it doesn't look really bad when installed! And if you as a C8 driver on something Vintage look then you should perhaps take a closer look at the covers with the eight trumpets. Custom Cre8ions sells them as "Velocity stacks“But the questionable aftermarket add-on is with 1.500 US Dollars Not even cheap for it nothing can. In any case, this aftermarket cover is something different from the usual carbon engine covers.

And maybe one or the other really believes that there is one 6,2 liter V8 with Carburetor technology plugged. The installation is supposedly with a clip and four screws in under 5 minutes done. The cover should probably not be designed for use with the C8 Convertible. Because with this one will exactly about it stowed the hood. Now we can only hope that high-quality aluminum will be used instead of plastic. A must see at this price! We know of course that "Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder". But we came to the conclusion that the component definitely belongs in ours Tuning Fail Category because WE don't consider it beautiful. What is your opinion about this? Beautiful or not so beautiful? Please leave a comment here!
