With me in 1982 the legendary Lamborghini Countach LP500S, including a V12 engine with 4.754 cm³ displacement and an output of 276 kW (375 PS) & 418 NM torque, was born. A super athlete for the top 10.000 that every child had in their car quartet. While not really much has changed for me in the following 35 years 😀 in the automotive industry it looks worlds different. Nowadays, a good family station wagon, in the form of an Audi A6 3.0BiTDI, drives around with 400 PS & 800 NM torque and does not attract any attention. By the way, that's almost twice the torque of the Lambo, and we'd best not talk about the consumption values ​​of a modern TDI compared to the V12 carburetor. Nevertheless, the Countach of course remains a legend ... The comparison should by no means spoil the Lambo, and we are also aware that the comparison of the two vehicles is of course very poor. It is only intended to show very superficially what is taken for granted these days and where the technology has gone.

But without further ado, the current 3-liter six-cylinder biturbo from the A6 C7 is not persuaded to perform as well. This then requires a B & B performance increase of level 2 by means of chip tuning, and a slightly revised hardware that enables significantly more performance. However, once you have installed these components and bridged a period of a good 6 hours, the brave Avant mutates into an athlete and still retains its lower thirst. There isn't much more to say about the car so we leave it with the pictures.   • Performance increase from 230kW / 313PS / 650Nm to 294kW / 400PS / 800Nm - (chip tuning, changed hardware - more information is not available)
