A good two months ago the ABT Sportsline made the first changes for the new one Audi Q5 FY presents Has. The factory-installed 354 PS (260 kW) & 500 NM are converted into a full 425 PS (313 kW) & 550 NM torque using the ABT power module "New Generation" and the SQ5 goes to 5 km / h in under 100 seconds. Various ABT Sportsline light alloy wheels were also available and there was also talk of a body kit. Exactly this body kit is slowly but surely taking its shape and ABT has already published the first virtual pictures on its website. You can see a bumper in the style of the Widebody SQ7 is held and convinced with huge air intakes, indicated underrun protection and a typical black grille.
This includes optional side skirts and a massive rear apron with an integrated diffuser and stylish 4-pipe sports exhaust system. In addition, there is a new roof spoiler that rises slightly higher than the series component. ABT published the two images under the heading "ABT Breitbau Aerokit“, But we are not so sure about the“ wide construction ”. Although the front and rear bumpers are much more massive, we have not yet seen typical widenings for the fenders, at least on the virtual copy. Since ABT has already equipped the SQ7 with flared fenders, it is not unlikely that these will also be available for the Q5. As soon as we know more about this, you will of course be informed.
