With a new, distinctive edition of the Alpine A110 (Total consumption combined: 7,0-6,7 l/100 km; Combined CO₂ emissions: 160-152 g/km), the brand is celebrating a historic success in motorsport: 50 years ago, the mid-engine sports car won the San Remo Rally and secured the constructor's title in the 1973 world championship March available to order at a price of €200.

Alpine A110 San Remo 73

After the special model Alpine A110 Tour de Corse 75 last year, this time the limited edition A110 San Remo 73 commemorates another outstanding success of the brand. The exclusive small series is characterized by a striking design, the sports chassis and the 221 kW/300 hp engine.

"San Remo 73" signature and original colour

With the body in the original color Caddy Blue and the red carbon roof with black painted roof arches, the A110 San Remo 73 recreates the legendary look of the original 1973 rally winner. "San Remo 73" badging on the hood, doors and rear bumper complement black and white graphic elements on the doors. There are also 18-inch white-painted wheels, anthracite brake calipers, black headlight surrounds, and gloss black fender logos and Alpine monograms.

The interior is defined by the microfiber cover with gray contrasting stitching. The Sabelt bucket seats are embroidered with "World Champion 73" lettering and are already prepared for six-point belts. The sporty look is complemented by the sports pedals, the aluminum passenger footrest and the carpets with the Alpine logo. The door panels are decorated with black and white stripes.

World Cup 1973 decides in San Remo

  • In 1973, Alpine dominated the World Rally Championship with four wins from nine rounds. The agile mid-engine sports cars from Dieppe were also among the favorites in the 10th round in San Remo, as the track with mixed terrain suited the Berlinette. On the Italian roads, the Alpine No. 1 finished the rally with a margin of more than six minutes and took overall victory. Despite being more than nine minutes behind at the beginning of the second stage, Alpine No. 5 finally secured third place in the overall standings. This run sealed the world championship title and victory in the constructors' championship for Alpine.
