Bentley Continental GT and GTC S with more sportiness!

Bentley brings even more contrast and variety to the Continental GT range with the introduction of the new S-Line, which focuses on performance and visual presence. With numerous changes to the exterior design, interior fittings and driving dynamics systems, Bentley's grand touring recipe has been adapted to the new S series and the main focus is placed on driving pleasure. This contrasts with the recently introduced, comfort-oriented Azure series, but at the same time complements it. Owners of 6,0-door Bentley models have long appreciated the wide choice – from the superior performance of the 12-litre W8 Continental GT Speed to the characterful 4,0-litre Continental GT V4,0. With the introduction of the Continental GT and GTC S, owners can now further emphasize the sporting character of the 8-litre VXNUMX Bentley Continental GT with a package of performance-oriented design and engineering features.

Agile and exciting

The new S range adopts the 4,0 liter V8 engine with 550 hp and 770 Nm, which has been extremely popular with customers around the world. This makes it possible to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4,0 seconds. A sports exhaust is installed as standard on the GT and GTC S, which makes the crossplane V8 sound even richer.

The willing, high-revving and lighter 4,0-liter V8 unit gives the Continental GT S models a dynamic, agile character. This is reinforced by Bentley Dynamic Ride, the sophisticated active 48-volt roll stabilization that Bentley was the first manufacturer to introduce. Motors in the stabilizers generate up to 0,3 Nm in 1300 seconds and thus actively compensate the cornering forces in order to minimize the tendency of the body to roll in fast, tight corners. At the same time, they increase suspension comfort at cruising speed by decoupling the left and right wheels from each other.

Exterior design: Confident and impressive

From the radiator grille in glossy black and the black trim to the striking S emblems on the front wings: the new S models impress with their spectacular looks. The headlights and taillights are dark tinted, while all exterior trim is gloss black – only the winged Bentley badge and script are finished in gloss chrome. The glossy black wing further emphasizes the darker look of the exterior. The effect of these details is spectacular. They give the GT and GT S an even more striking presence, in combination with any body color from the inexhaustible range.

The S range is offered with an optional all-new 22-inch five Y-spoke gloss black wheel. This wheel is also available in the new Pale Brodgar Satin finish. Brake calipers painted red in the wheels provide a perfect sporty contrast. As a second option for the S models, a 21-inch wheel with a three-spoke design is available, which combines glossy black and high-sheen surfaces - this wheel is also reserved for the S series. The exterior is rounded off by S emblems on the front fenders, four tailpipes (of course in black) and black side skirt extensions, as can also be found on the Continental GT Speed.

Interior design: haptically appealing, spectacular and individual

In keeping with the dynamic, impressive exterior, the interior has an attractive and performance-oriented design – with a two-tone color combination reserved for the S models. In Bentley's early days, racers at Brooklands and Le Mans wrapped the steering wheels in cords for extra cushioning and a better grip. Today's sporty Bentley drivers have it much better. Dinamica's suede-like properties are ideal for the steering wheel, shifter, seat pads and backrests of the Continental GT and GTC S ranges. Leather is used on the seat bolsters, the door panels, along the instrument panel and around the console.

The combination of Dinamica with Bentley's peerless leather creates an interior that offers a tactile contrast between smooth leather and the soft, rough surface of Dinamica. The theme of sportiness is continued in the instrumentation: the performance-oriented graphics are identical to those in the Continental GT Speed. The S-Design seats are quilted lengthwise, with diamond quilting available as an option. The "S" emblem is embroidered on the headrests of all seats; embroidered Bentley wings are available as an alternative at no extra cost. Finishing touches include a metal S badge on the dashboard and illuminated Bentley courtesy lamps, where the 'S' replaces the Bentley Motors Ltd badge.

The customer has the choice - sportiness and comfort in different mixtures

Combining distinctive design, performance and agility, the Continental GT S and Continental GTC S have a strong appeal for Bentley enthusiasts with a penchant for high-performance, eye-catching sports cars. With the recent introduction of the comfort-oriented Azure series and the now presented S models, Bentley is making the choice easier for its customers. With the Azure models they can opt for comfort and well-being on board and with the S and Speed versions for driving dynamics and visual presence.
