The basis for the conversion is an 850i with a V12 suction engine (M70, 5,0 liter displacement) under the hood, which, according to our information, has been boosted to around 450 hp by means of supercharging. And the tag is exceptionally rare. Because if the claims in the video are to be believed, then only three KS8 vehicles from Koenig Specials GmbH were manufactured as right-hand drive, and this example is one of them. Officially, the conversion is known as "KS8" and according to the video, the vehicle has been in a garage for the last eight years.

But recently the vehicle changed hands when the YouTuber Sira Car Collector took a trip to Germany and bought the sports coupe advertised for €99.000 and brought it to London. However, there are no exact details about the vehicle's past, because you don't even know who the modified one was for 8er originally belonged to. Unfortunately, the KS8 was not ready to drive when it was purchased, as the first six cylinders seemed to have no power. So he had to be on a trailer (hung on a Mercedes-AMG G63) to be moved to the new home. But one thing is clear, the KS8 is definitely a vehicle worth saving. The body seems to be in good condition for the most part, so that you can devote yourself directly to the technology in addition to the optics.

So the first task will be to get the car drivable again before the body and interior are refreshed towards the end of the year or early 2024 according to the video. The body kit includes a new front apron with fog lights, there are wider front and rear fenders and new side skirts are also installed. In addition, the rear shows a modified apron and a large rear spoiler. The visual changes are rounded off with powerful drop center rims all around and a striking sports exhaust system.
