This beautiful 1959 Chevrolet Corvette as Restomod is up for auction. And the vehicle impressively shows that a well-made restomod as a custom classic perfectly manages the balancing act between modernization and the special things of the series at the time. The 1959 convertible finds exactly the right balance. The unique piece is painted in burgundy red and there are silver accents. on the sides Schott Fuel rims rotate in the wheel arches, which fit perfectly with the classic Corvette lines but at the same time give the vehicle an individual touch. In our opinion, the iconic appearance of the Vette remains completely intact. Further details are a stainless steel sports exhaust with side pipes, there was a burgundy-colored hood and the front and rear headlights are equipped with LED technology. The interior has a beautiful cream finish leather interior and the new instruments are Dakota Digital HDX displays.

There is also a vintage air conditioning system, a modern sound system with Bluetooth connectivity, new speakers in the doors and a subwoofer on the back. Under the mentioned leather there are completely renewed seats and at second glance small details such as the electric windows and a leather-lined trunk become apparent. As always, the highlight is under the bonnet. Here sits a 376 cubic inch LS3 V8, which is coupled to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic (4L70E). The engine received a new air intake, a new valve cover and a few other changes. And under the body there is a new, completely silver-painted frame, there was an adjustable QA1 coilover kit and a sports brake system from the Z06 ensures a decent delay. And finally there is even a power steering installed. The 1959 Corvette C1 Cabrio will be offered as lot number 771 at the Barrett-Jackson Fall Auction 2020.
