Restomod 1949 Chevrolet 3600 Pickup with Corvette V8!

This beautiful one Restomod conversion It's based on a 3600 Chevrolet 1949 pickup. And since it's a restomod, it's clear that there are a few modern touches hidden under the shell. And these come from the Corvette, actually from several. The unique is about Mecum Auctions sold in a Kansas City auction in the first days of December and is said to be a complete Frame-off restoration received, which took approximately 400 hours of work. Invisible at first glance, the pickup still has the original frame, but there was one at the rear Smart Air suspension and also a coilover front, which, as far as we know, comes from a 1984 Corvette. Beautifully painted red, the body hides a 350ci V8 engine under the hood, fitted with a Holley carburetor, Edelbrock air intake and a Sports exhaust has been paired. The engine also depends on a Turbo 350 automatic transmission.

And then there is the wheelset. It comes from a C4 Corvette and hides a modern brake system behind it. But that's not all. In the rear area, the loading area got a new one wood paneling and the cabin has also changed. Here you can see a newly leathered seat, there was a different center console and even a noble headliner is installed. Technical details such as a Bluetooth sound system, an electronic vintage USA instrument cluster and other niceties such as LED taillights round off the tuning successfully.
