Modifying a Ferrari is always a balancing act. On the one hand, you want a special piece of jewelry in your garage, on the other hand, wrong tuning can lead to an enormous loss in value. But now we would like to introduce you to one of the craziest Ferraris of all time, powered by a K24 Honda engine, and in JDM Style is held. The creator of the creation is called Mike Burrough (Mike Burroughs Automotive Builder) and is from the USA!

The clash of cultures!

On the one hand Italian automotive art, on the other hand JDM style. What sounds like a battle mode in Need for Speed ​​or Forza Horizon is best described in this extraordinary project. JDM influences can already be clearly seen on the exterior, because the mighty rear wing and the huge side skirts are reminiscent of a drift car of Japanese origin. This is partly a Liberty Walk widebody kit (Front bumper, bolt-on look fender flares, custom aero carbon body kit from RS Future, with front splitter, side skirts, diffuser, rear wing, carbon front hood, new hood).

There are also cool details such as Hella Jumbo 220 additional lights, a "244 GTK" emblem on the rear and the whole car has been fully wrapped in white. There were also drop center rims in a five-spoke star design (Rotiform ROC-H in 10,5×18 & 12×18 inches) which boast a snow white finish and are fitted with Nitto NT01 R tires in 275/35ZR18 & 315/30ZR18 sizes.

The white color of the rims may match the exterior paintwork, but it certainly takes some getting used to. In order to fully internalize the JDM culture, the 308 also got a widebody kit, which is strongly reminiscent of a Pandem product. It provides an even more aggressive look for the Nippon Italian. Furthermore, a new brake system from AP-Racing (AP Racing Pro 5000 R brake system 6-piston calipers at the front / 4-piston calipers with slotted discs at the rear) installed. This should bring the Italian to a safe stop at all speeds.

Racing bucket seats, an airbag-free sports steering wheel and a long drift shift lever create a sporty atmosphere in the cockpit that is not a matter of course even for a Ferrari. And the engine? A K24 four-cylinder turbo from Honda is up to mischief behind the seats. Every Ferraristi's heart bleeds. So the legendary 3-litre V8 petrol engine was ripped out of the car and replaced with a Honda engine with just four cylinders.

The K24 drive, which is also used in the US Civic and Accord, is said to deliver up to 1.000 hp at the wheel thanks to a huge Garrett turbocharger. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed Quaife QKE8J sequential gearbox. Unfortunately, nothing is known to us about the performance and the maximum speed of the creature.

Reliability or performance, such a project is a failure in terms of the engine. For us, the car and engine go together like pizza and wasabi.
