The Spanish crossover coupe Cupra Formentor continues to be popular, especially since Cupra has secured the five-cylinder from the Audi RS3. By combining the powerful engine with a limited number of the even sportier Formentor, which appropriately bears the abbreviation VZ5, Cupra has created a real eye-catcher. And the tuning workshop JE DESIGN from Leingarten, known as an expert for sporty Cupra vehicles, would like to get even more out of the VZ5. JE DESIGN has developed some special parts for the VZ5 and combined them with existing elements from the Formentor refinement program.
Cupra Formentor VZ5 Widebody
The most striking visual change of the 390 HP strong Formentor is the Wheel arch on the front and rear axles, giving the vehicle a significantly wider shoulder section and creating more space in the wheel arches. This means that rims with a size of up to 10×21 inches can be installed. However, the ideal combination of aesthetics, performance and comfort is made possible by the JE DESIGN performance wheel in 10×20 and in glossy black.
This special rim is made using the weight-optimizing Flowforming technology manufactured and weighs only 13,6 kg. The tire choice is between 255/35 R20 or the format 265/30 R20. And for fans of the well-known Cupra copper style, JE DESIGN has the RubÍ Copper-R rim in 9×20 inches with 265/30 R20 tires at the start. The optional suspension springs, which provide about 35 mm more depth, also allow the aluminum to sit optimally in the wheel arch. The tuner also recommends suitable ones Spacers from the in-house portfolio for the 9×20 inch Rubí Copper-R rim with an offset of 35.
Roof spoiler with central air duct
To successfully round off the customization program, JE DESIGN equips the rear of the Formentor with a large roof spoiler with a central air duct (V double wing) and a three-part rear spoiler lip on the trunk lid to generate even more downforce.
