Yes, you read that right. It is neither a Ram nor a Charger, but a ram charger from 1987. This Dodge is a rarity these days, and such a vehicle will probably no longer appear in the traditional brand's model portfolio anytime soon. In its day, the vehicle was an answer to questions that were never asked and, for rational reasons, made little sense, nowadays such an off-roader would probably be a maximum SEMA concept car because in times of the electrification of the automobile, vehicles with large-volume V8 engines are unfortunately a species that is dying out. However, we could well imagine a veritable Bronco competitor from Dodge, based on the current Jeep Wrangler JL. However, we don't know if it would make sense for marketing reasons, as the risk of cannibalizing Wrangler sales would be too great.
Off-road monsters for all eventualities!
So off-road fans will have to deal with this one Dodge Ramcharger from 1987 satisfied who is currently at autotrader.com for an astronomical $ 79.000 net. The Ramcharger, who with his Höherlegungskitwhich, among other things, has the axles of a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and seems to be well equipped for any terrain, will surely find a lover who is willing to pay the price for the vehicle.
He is apparently in the perfect Restomod state, and has some modern features. Custom front and rear bumpers also ensure that the vehicle does not look like an ordinary ramcharger off the peg, but has a very special off-road flair. The vehicle also has Fuel Beast 5 × 5 rims in the format 20 × 12 inches on the Off-road tires called by Toyo Open Country R / T were raised. In order to really leave nothing to chance, there is also one Smittybuilt X20 winch below the front bumper, which in an emergency can pull the vehicle over steep passages.
Incidentally, the Ramcharger was made by Bombshell Speed and Custom newly built, and also has a very inviting interior, which we will discuss in more detail in the next paragraph. All in all, the off-roader is not for the boulevard, but rather for the hard, impassable terrain.
Custom interior with a luxurious feel!
Believe it or not, the Bombshell Speed and Custom crew dressed the interior in saddle brown Manager and also used red fabric for the seats, so that the interior looks classy and not rustic. Even spoiled people feel at home in this cockpit, and one would expect it more in a limousine than in this off-roader.
Modern 5,7 liter HEMI V8 provides propulsion!
The vehicle would not be a complete restomod if the original engine were not replaced by a more modern one Drive unit would have been replaced. In this case, the original engine had to be one 5,7 liter V8 naturally aspirated gasoline engineas you know it from the Charger, the Challenger and various Chrysler and Jeep models. Unfortunately, we do not have any information about the exact performance data, but the vehicle should be sufficiently motorized so that it does not lose its power in difficult terrain.

A dream for all off-road fanatics who buy an off-road vehicle not only because of the high seating position and who do not intend to make the boulevards and boulevards of the world unsafe.
