The Jaguar Classic department has one E Type Roadster from 1965 completely restauriert and last weekend as part of the 26-car Jaguar Land Rover parade at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Pageant presented. The one-off is a special order from a customer who was born in 1965 and wanted an E-Type Roadster from that year. Jaguar Classic, for example, looked for a vehicle that was built two days after the customer's birthday and worked on it for over a year. The exterior is characterized by a special Painting in metallic blue inspired by the Union Jack, which took several months to perfect alone. Otherwise, the vehicle is optically largely standard and equipped with the shiny chrome bumpers and the classic spoked wheels. However, now are headlights installed with modern LED technology. And true to the E-Type's heritage, the interior decoration inspired by British post boxes.

There is also a special in the vehicle plaque placed on the dashboard proving that this is not a 'normal' restored E-type. There is a under the hood 4,7-liter in-line six-cylinder engine, which has been tuned for more power than the standard 4,2-liter unit. The force will be about a Five-speed gearbox to Rear wheels transmitted, which according to Jaguar Classic is a "quieter and more refined driving experience" offers.
