With a three-cylinder engine with 261 hp, the Toyota GR Yaris (XP21) is by far the most extreme small car that you can currently buy. Still, some are looking for various ways to improve performance increaseto get even closer to Rally Yaris WRC to be. And one possibility is to use the engine Akrapovic sports exhaust system to help you achieve better performance. And that's exactly what the team at Biesse Racing made. And how the Akrapovic exhaust sounds on the small GR Yaris is shown in the following video including a test run. There you can see the titanium exhaust going crazy 19 percent more performance brings up and the engine 315 PS pushes. The torque also increases massively. From a measured 358 Nm to a stately one 420 Nm. With 315 hp and 420 Nm torque, the GR Yaris is now significantly more powerful than the four-cylinder version of the Supra. And all of that at only 1.200 kg empty weight.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
