The new MINI Countryman is just as prepared for the challenges of everyday life as it is for spontaneous excursions beyond the city limits and adventures on unpaved terrain. Its versatile character has now been enhanced by a decidedly stylish note. A particularly expressive exterior paintwork in the Deep Laguna metallic variant and exclusive design features for the exterior and interior give the new MINI Countryman Boardwalk a fascinating appearance on the metropolitan promenade as well as on trips to the beach. The edition model is produced in a limited edition, is available immediately and can be ordered in three model variants.
2021 MINI Countryman Boardwalk
The Deep Laguna metallic body color effectively highlights the powerfully modeled surfaces of the MINI Countryman. The high-quality shimmering shade of blue had previously been developed exclusively for the MINI Convertible Sidewalk edition model, which is also available in limited numbers, and aroused unanimous enthusiasm in the MINI community. The wish of many MINI fans to make this paint finish available for the new MINI Countryman has now been fulfilled. With the robust all-rounder, it is combined with a black paint finish for the roof and the exterior mirror caps.
Deep Laguna metallic and black metallic
With this color combination, the new MINI Countryman Boardwalk is a stylish eye-catcher on every journey. The name of the edition model refers to the promenades steeped in traditional seaside resorts in the British home of the MINI brand. The often kilometer-long walks that connect health resorts and serve as access to the likewise typically English piers were originally the preferred stage for large social appearances. The characteristic pattern of the wooden beams laid lengthways and diagonally on the promenades now served as inspiration for the emblem of the new edition. A striped pattern in Deep Laguna metallic and black metallic with the lettering “BOARDWALK” adorns the side indicator bezels known as side scuttles. The pattern and inscription can also be found on the door sill trims. In addition, the side flanks of the roof in the area of the rear side windows and the interior trim on the passenger side each have a logo with the name of the edition model.

The new MINI Countryman Boardwalk is available in three model variants. In the MINI Cooper Countryman Boardwalk, a three-cylinder gasoline engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology generates a maximum output of 100 kW / 136 hp. A four-cylinder gasoline engine with 131 kW / 178 hp powers the MINI Cooper S Countryman Boardwalk and MINI Cooper S Countryman ALL4 Boardwalk models. As an alternative to the standard 6-speed manual transmission, a 7-speed Steptronic transmission with double clutch is available for both the MINI Cooper Countryman Boardwalk and the MINI Cooper S Countryman Boardwalk. The all-wheel drive edition model is equipped with an 8-speed Steptronic transmission as standard. With numerous other options, the exclusive appearance of the edition vehicles can be supplemented with an individual plus in driving fun and comfort.
