Have you ever heard of the Malaysian automotive company? Perodua belongs? We honestly never! But there is certainly a considerable range of vehicles (Perodua Kancil, Kejora, Kelisa, Rusa, Kembara, Nippa, Kenari, Myvi, Viva, Nautica, Alza etc.). For the most part, the vehicles are based on DaihatsuModels aside from the Axia's on the Toyota Agya based. With the Perodua Bezza and also the Aruz SUV, however, they have been trying for themselves for some years and produced, according to Proton, the first own vehicles Made in Malaysia. And we now have a small 2018 Perodua Myvi based on the Daihatsu Boon (Also available as Toyota Passo) discovered by the Malaysian tuner SD Aerodynamics Automobile Design got a body kit.

Although the vehicle is not available for sale in this country, we would like to show you that apart from the Suzuki Wagon, the Nissan Note or the Mazda Demio, there are still alternatives to be found if you are just looking for them. The HotHatch received a sporty spoiler lip for the distinctive front apron and also panels for the air intakes. Right & left there were even smaller canards and the Myvi has a black grille with a red accent. And this red accent also makes it into the headlights and gives the little Myvi a little VW Polo GTI style.

And the side skirts and the sporty aggressive rear apron approach with integrated right / left sports exhaust system from Akrapovic come from SD Aerodynamics. There was also a new BBS wheelset in shiny black and a lowering of about 30 mm. Optically for us an alternative to the VW Up GTI and the ultimate proof that other mothers have beautiful daughters.
