Have you ever heard of the PS saddlery (Halverscheid & Grocholl OHG) heard from Bergkamen? You should remember the name! The team around Dennis Halverscheid has specialized, among other things, in refining vehicle interiors and has put together a particularly striking Ford Mustang GT in the striking "Fury Orange". And the absolute highlight is of course the completely new interior, known as the "PSS GT-X". The cabin of the Mustang is just as colorful as the bodywork on the outside. The plastic surfaces, which unfortunately still seem cheap at times, have disappeared from the factory. Instead, a combination of black Bentley nappa leather with diamond quilting, black Alcantara and many bright Alcantara accents in mango orange can now be found in the vehicle.
Steering wheel significantly upgraded
The front and rear seats were reupholstered, the entire dashboard also in the lower part, the center console including the armrest and even the shift and handbrake sack. And with painstaking manual work, the steering wheel and steering column trim, the door and side panels and the headlining including pillars and sun visors were even used. And even the quilted leather floor mats with orange piping and the orange seat belts can be traced back to the tuner from Bergkamen. With many small details such as the door sill trims with Mustang lettering or the meticulously framed door catch locks, the exclusivity is taken to the extreme. And then there are the high-quality metallic orange-carbon trim strips, which of course were also created by hand.
Accents in orange worked into the carbon
They can be seen in large parts on the dashboard, the door panels, around the handbrake lever, the gear knob, the spokes of the completely upgraded steering wheel, which is flattened at the bottom, and even the cup holders in the console. And a look at the factory-fitted digital instrument cluster reveals an expansion of the speedometer scale to 300 km / h as well as another display that provides information about the boost pressure. And of course not without reason. The 5,0-liter V8 got a Edelbrock TVS 2.650 compressor system that, including chip tuning from Auto-Hentzschel, now provides 725 hp and approx. 800 Nm maximum torque. The upgrade is expressed acoustically by means of a stainless steel flap exhaust system including X-Pipe from NAP, which brings four carbon-coated tailpipes. And then there was the new setup of the chassis.
Lowering and 20 incher on the Mustang
The Mustang stands on Schmidt Drago rims in 9 × 20 and 11 × 20 inch formats in glossy black with fronts painted in body color. In combination with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires (275 / 30R20 / 295 / 25R20) and the lowering by means of KW Variant 3 coilovers, the more than 700 PS come optimally onto the road. The successful photo vehicle is impressively rounded off with small details such as the black Mustang emblem or the cleared rear cover.
