And once again we have a wonderful, completely restored and rebuilt Ford Mustang from days gone by for you. This time it's a specimen from 1967. A vehicle that has a V8 tuned by Roush Performance under the hood. And this Mustang contributes to the fact that “according to Ford”, the best-selling sports car in the world is added to the existing inventory. The Mustang is currently enjoying something like its golden years anyway. After all, 2019 vehicles were sold worldwide in 102.090. And that doesn't even include the many restored specimens in more or less modified form. The Mustang we have here belongs to the category the classic and is one of the best conversions we've seen so far. The complete restoration was carried out recently and has been painstakingly done by hand down to the smallest screw. And best of all, the vehicle is currently looking for a new owner.

almost $ 170.000 are due

It is namely for sale by RK Motors. However, the new owner should already be a six-figure sum (just under 170.000 dollars) to pay. For this there is a 550 PS strong 7,0 liter V8 (427ci) from Roush Performance under the hood, which is coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission (Tremec TKO600) with hydraulic clutch. The chassis has a front suspension from Rod and Custom and one of Heidts is installed in the back. The Mustang stands on chrome-plated 18-inch American Racing Shelby Cobra rims and, of course, an MS Sidepipe sports exhaust system emerges on the right and left in front of the rear wheels. The entire vehicle is painted in elegant Pepper Gray and in the middle there is a stripe in black metallic over the sometimes very aggressive body kit with a powerful Powerdome hood. Many components are inspired by the Shelby GT500 of the time and there have also been a lot of changes in the cabin. Here the one-off shows itself with new car allures including leather bucket seats, there was a newly upholstered dashboard and modern air conditioning is also installed.

classic round instruments in white

Also here are a few Shelby tips and of course state-of-the-art components. For example, the classic round instruments in white, the DVD navigation system and the elegant aluminum pedals come from the present. In combination with the aluminum sports steering wheel, the newly designed center console or the large loudspeakers in the doors, the visual changes are essentially rounded off on the inside. Countless other features such as a state-of-the-art sports brake system from Wilwood, LED headlights front and rear and of course a new convertible top are self-evident with this conversion. If we receive more information about the changes to the 1967 Roush Performance Ford Mustang, there is of course an update for this report.
