It's been 15 again many years ago the Seat the third generation of Ibiza, Type 6L, brought to market. Like the Polo 9N and Skoda Fabia I, the Spaniard also used the PQ24 / A04 platform from VW and the engine range was also largely adopted. From 2004 there was also the 160 PS & 330 NM strong 1.9 TDI (Cupra) with BPX / BUK four-cylinder which at least enabled a top speed of 200 km / h, which was quite remarkable for the conditions at the time and this vehicle class. Much more common than the Cupra was the "normal“1.9 TDI with 74 kW (101 PS) & 240 Nm torque (ATD / AXR / BMT) which was built from 02 / 2002–03 / 2008. But this engine already comes with everything you need to get to the level of the 1.9 TDI (Cupra) and easily leave the 130 PS strong 1.9 TDI (Sport / FR) behind. All you need is a chip tuning and possibly a country in which you can drive without a catalytic converter 😀
The Ibiza brings it to 157 PS & 353 NM torque by means of chip tuning and removed catalyst and should therefore be on par with the Cupra. Although the tuner states on its side that the vehicle has received a "special approval", we think it is better not to question this further. There isn't much more to say about the car so we leave it with the pictures. If we get more information about the modifications to the Cupra, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. - Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilovers, Airride air suspension, with standard air suspension possibly by adjusting the electronics - more information is not available)
- Performance increase - (chip tuning, catalyst removed)
- BBS alloy wheels with polished rim base & golden rim star
- black taillights
